Abstract

The relationship between India and Vietnam is characterised not only by its historical depth but also by a harmonious and peaceful history, with neither country perceiving a threat from the other. Building upon this affinity, the promotion of heritage and cultural ties between the two countries will improve mutual relations, people to people connections, and ensure strategic development. Cultural heritage tourism, as a subtle yet powerful form of diplomacy, has gained recognition for its potential to foster international  relations. India and Vietnam can both promote mutual understanding and enhance diplomatic ties by recognising their cultural narratives and resources. Cultural heritage tourism in this aspect provides a significant opportunity to encourage interaction between the people of both countries. Thereby fostering a deeper understanding of both sides and, most importantly strengthening bilateral relations.
